Which plan should I start with?+
Most distributors start with Launch. It gets you up and running immediately with access to the full supplier marketplace, automated fulfillment, and no integrations required. Enterprise is designed for companies that need custom payment and tax integrations, full control over supplier relationships, and dedicated support.
What's the difference between Launch, Enterprise, and Connect?+
Launch — Brikl handles payment collection from customers, sales tax filings, payments to decorators, and customer service issues with decorators. Enterprise — Built for businesses that want full control. Brikl integrates with your payment provider so you collect payments directly, connects with your tax management software, and you maintain direct relationships with your suppliers and decorators. Connect — Build your fully embellished product catalogs on Brikl, but run your storefront on a third-party platform. Orders are routed to Brikl for fulfillment routing. Works alongside either Launch or Enterprise.
What does "Merchant of Record" mean?+
The Merchant of Record is the entity that processes payments and is legally responsible for the transaction. On Launch, Brikl is the Merchant of Record — we handle payment collection, tax remittance, and decorator payments on your behalf. On Enterprise and Connect, you are the Merchant of Record — you collect payments directly and manage your own tax filings and supplier invoices.
How does Brikl pricing work — is it really $0/month?+
Yes. There is no monthly subscription fee on Launch. Brikl operates on a success-based model: we charge a flat 3.5% commission on the orders you process. From day one, this includes unlimited users, unlimited stores, and unlimited organizations. You also receive live, real-time cost-of-goods data directly from our decorator network, giving you full visibility into your margins when setting retail prices. Zero dead money in low-volume months.
What is the 3.5% commission?+
Brikl charges a 3.5% commission per transaction. This covers all software maintenance, platform updates, and integration management — allowing you to scale without fixed monthly license costs or setup fees. Our success is aligned directly with your revenue growth.
How does Brikl's pricing compare to consumer POD platforms?+
Unlike consumer print-on-demand platforms that charge retail base prices, Brikl connects you directly to wholesale blank goods suppliers — giving you access to the same products at significantly lower cost-of-goods. A basic tee that costs $12-18 on a consumer POD platform costs $5-8 through Brikl's supplier marketplace. Your 3.5% commission is calculated on the retail price you set, not on inflated base costs.
How do Brikl's fees and payment processing fees work together?+
Brikl charges its 3.5% platform fee, and your payment gateway (e.g. Stripe) applies its own standard processing fees on top of that. For reference, Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction in the US; rates vary by country and payment method.
Are there payment fees on coupon-only orders?+
No. For coupon-only orders where the customer pays nothing, no payment gateway fee applies since there is no payment transaction. Brikl invoices you separately for those orders.
