Brikl is a B2B SaaS e-commerce platform founded in 2019 by Maarten Boone. The platform enables promotional product distributors and decorators to launch on-demand merchandise stores with automated fulfillment, no inventory requirements, and a transparent 3.5% commission-based pricing model.
The promotional products industry generates over $26 billion in annual revenue in the United States alone, yet much of it still runs on manual processes — email-based ordering, spreadsheet inventory tracking, and fragmented fulfillment workflows.
Distributors carry inventory risk, decorators rely on unpredictable order volumes, and end customers wait weeks for products that could be produced on demand.
Before Brikl, Maarten Boone spent over a decade at Hanesbrands Inc. — one of the world's largest apparel companies. He started in printwear sales in Europe, then took on global supply chain leadership roles across Europe, the US, and Asia. That experience gave him a front-row seat to how the decorated apparel supply chain actually works — and where it breaks down.
In 2017, he founded brikl.io in London as a 2D-3D product configurator for the custom products industry. By 2019, the vision had evolved. The configurator was phased out, the company relocated from London to Belgium and the US, and brikl.com was born with a broader mission: to build a purpose-built e-commerce platform for B2B promotional products — with on-demand fulfillment integrated directly into the platform, so distributors would never need to hold inventory again.
Brikl is not a general-purpose e-commerce tool. It is purpose-built for the promotional products supply chain — connecting distributors, decorators, and suppliers in a single automated workflow. The platform handles everything from storefront creation to order routing to fulfillment, eliminating the manual touchpoints that slow down traditional distributor operations.
Today, Brikl integrates with 12 fulfillment providers (including Taylor OnDemand, Printful, and Fulfill Engine), leading wholesale blank goods suppliers, and supports 17 currencies for global operations. Distributors can create unlimited branded stores, process orders automatically, and pay only a 3.5% commission per transaction. Brikl is also the only e-commerce platform in the promotional products industry to achieve SOC 2 Type II attestation, meeting SOC 2 Type II certified security and compliance standards.

Brikl is built by engineers, for an industry that has been underserved by technology. The majority of our team writes code. That ratio is intentional — the complexity of the promo supply chain demands it, and it's what allows us to move fast and build deep where others don't.
Our technical leadership reflects this. Enoc Gutierrez, who leads Brikl's technology and product, previously served as a senior software engineer at Rappi, where he helped build Rappi Turbo— the ultra-fast delivery service that became one of Latin America's most technically demanding logistics platforms. That experience in real-time inventory, last-mile routing, and high-throughput order systems translates directly to what Brikl does: connecting distributed supply chains in real time.

Brikl exists to power how the promotional products industry buys, sells, fulfills, and grows. We believe distributors should be able to launch stores in minutes rather than months, decorators should receive work automatically rather than chasing leads, and the entire supply chain should operate without the friction of inventory, manual order entry, and fragmented software. Our goal is to make on-demand the default operating model for promotional products.
Brikl is an active member of the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), member number #803362. We participate in industry events including the annual PPAI Expo and maintain partnerships with leading suppliers and decorators across North America and Europe. Our offices are located in Cincinnati, Ohio (US) and Lubbeek, Belgium (EU).
